  • Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

  • Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting two people who live here.
     
    Who will you be supporting?
    • Supporting 2 individuals in a shared house, 1 male and 1 female, aged 40 and above
    • We have different levels capacity due to mental health. 
    • At present we cater for tenants who have the following conditions/requirements: We provide and assist with preparation of a wide range of food and drink to accommodate the individuals dietary requirements. Our team support individuals with various mental health conditions such as: Depression, Anxiety and Schizophrenia. Additional medical requirements can be discussed with the management team on assessment. All our staff team are all trained and familiar with supporting someone with all the above needs.
    • Our team are trained to administer our medication if required.
    • Our team support us with our personal finances, banking, shopping and auditing. 

    What is important to us? 
    • We are very independent, but do need a little guidance every now and then
    • Other interests we have are listening to music, watching movies and cooking/baking.
    • We are fun loving, kind, caring, considerate, respectful of other people’s personal space and belongings.
    • We provide a happy and safe environment in our home and we always respect each other’s privacy, dignity and space.
    • Must have experience within mental health 
    Our Shifts:  We like our staff to work Long Days Sleep 10.00am through to 10.00am the following day (this of course includes the sleep-in from 23.00 till 07.00 a.m)
    Contract: 12 hours, 12 months Maternity Cover Only, (Fixed Term Contract
    Driving License: No
