Are you a positive and motivated person who is experienced in supporting individuals within their own homes?
Are you looking to gain great experience in a satisfying job where you feel supported?
If this sounds like you, maybe a Support Worker role with an award-winning charity is the change you’ve been looking for!
At our Thurso service, we support a gentleman to live as independently as possible in his own home and are looking for a Support Worker to join our team.
We provide support 7 days a week, so we're ideally looking for someone with some flexibility to work different days. 15 hour contract plus sleepover
A Manual UK driving license is required as the person we support has a mobility vehicle.
In this team, you’ll support this gentlemen to live the best life possible by supporting him to go swimming, go to the gym, visit the cinema, enjoy a wee dance and go on holiday, among his many other hobbies and interests.
In this role, you can also expect to provide support with:
• Medication administration
• Cooking and home maintenance
• Personal care
• Finance management
Our shifts are from 8.30am to 8.30am the next day, with a sleepover in between. This is a preference of the individual we support so the successful candidate must be available to work this shift pattern.
