Community Integrated Care is on an exciting journey of transformation and growth and we are looking to recruit an experience Project Manager to join our Partnerships and Communities Team based from our head office in Widnes on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover contract. You can be based anywhere in the North West but must be able to travel to our head office in Widnes at least once a week and nationally as and when required.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
The Project Manager will ensure that our Partnerships and Community programmes are effectively designed, managed and implemented. Responsible for managing a diverse range of projects at different stages of their project lifecycle, working collaboratively to effectively plan, manage, and deliver projects, to agreed time, cost, and quality requirements, in accordance with project management standards and to meet our charity’s strategic aims.
 
Day to Day you'll be (list not exhaustive please see JD)
 
  • Maintain strong project management methodologies across all the Partnerships and Communities programmes to ensure that they deliver the desired impact within agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements. 
  • To prepare a comprehensive business case for all projects, with a reliable articulation of key life cycle costs, risks, opportunities, and benefits against which the project can be approved and assessed on completion. To further lead the rationalisation and review of project concepts, to ensure they are well-timed, effectively planned, and are able to deliver the intended impact.
  • Lead project evaluation and working with the project delivery teams to ensure that lessons are learnt for continuous improvement and development, and data (including testimonials) are captured and communicated internally and externally (as required).
  • Liaise with the wider organisation and Group Projects teams to assist with organisational business plans consistent with the overarching strategy of the charity.
  • Collaboration: It is expected that the post holder will proactively engage with a team of supporting Business Partners, Operational, and Support Services colleagues to ensure the right action and support can be delivered at the right time – particularly with the Group Projects team to ensure alignment of methodology and consistently applied PM practices. 
  • Budgets: Indirect budget responsibility through the management of projects and delivery within cost parameters.

Skills Knowledge and Experience
 
  • Degree Qualification or equivalent work experience in a similar role
  • Practitioner Certificate in PRINCE 2 or equivalent project management qualification
  • Proficient in MS Office applications / Excellent IT skills (including Microsoft Project and CRM)
  • Skilled at overseeing a diverse portfolio of programmes, campaigns and activations.
  • Experience of significant project challenges and evidence of lessons learned 
  • Experience of successfully defining and managing a significantly sized programme of interrelated projects 
  • Understanding of Change Management processes
